*******************************ADD THE ABOVE TO THE REGISTRY*****************************
YOU CAN DO THIS BY COPY PASTING
                INTO NOTEPAD, THEN SAVE AS
                WHATEVER.REG, THEN MERGE INTO
                YOUR CURRENT REGISTRY
                BASICALLY INSTEAD OF CALLING FF
RIGHT AWAY, IT TAKES YOUR URL
AND THEN CALLS A BATCH FILE
                THAT WILL REMOVE THE BLOCKED
                PART OF BLOCKEDHTTP AND
                BLOCKEDHTTPS, CHANGING IT TO
                HTTP AND HTTPS RESPECTIVELY

YOU CAN ADJUST FOR IE BY
               REPLACING ALL THE FF STUFF
               WITH IE STUFF....

MAKE THE BELOW PART INTO A
                BATCH FILE, FF.BAT, AND SAVE
                TO C:\FF.BAT

SET URL=%~1
SET URL=%URL:blocked= %

Hi,

Make the Outlook as default e-mail client in Internet Explorer to enable the hyperlinks to Open in Outlook. Follow the below steps to do this:

1. Open the Internet Explorer .
2. Click on the Tools option and then click on the Internet Option option.
3. In the pop up window click on the Programs tab, select the Microsoft Outlook in the E-mail box to set it as the Default email client.

Let me know if you face any difficulty.

Found the solution!

Links/HREFs

AKO/DKO webmail started changing hrefs in messages to have blocked in front of the original protocol to prevent the automatic click on links in messages.  You should still be able to:

Right Click on the link.
Copy the link by either clicking on ‘Copy Shortcut’ or ‘Copy Link Location’.
Paste it into the browser address bar.
Delete the words “Blocked” at the beginning of the link.

Eddie

Hi,

Try these steps in your Outlook.
1.Open Outlook and on the Tools menu, click Options.
2.On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
3.On the Options tab, clear the Don't turn on links in messages that might connect to unsafe  sites check box.

Try to open that link again and let me know if it is not working.

There is no option (Outlook 2007) that you describe in item 3

I have tried both IE 7 & 8. Both give the same result unable to display page. Outlook 2007 gives the message MS Office has blocked a potentially dangerious link do you wish to continue? Click YES and you get the message access denied
