Since loading Nero DVD software and my computer no longer acknowledges that I had a CDROM and neither will it play. I have replaced the cable and also the DVD player but no change. The DVD player flashes during boot up and the disk spins but does nothing else. I have downloaded a reg patch from microsoft but this says that my data is already a match for the fix.
