My new PC and Windows 7 Support

I got a new PC, after my old one crashed, despite all the Windows 7 support. Of course, it was with some difficulty that I replaced it; after all, it had been my faithful companion all through college. But, then life must go on. Back to my new PC, I am not good with the technical details; so you will have to make do with my saying that it is one of the latest releases. But I do know the operating system was Windows XP; I don’t need Windows 7 support to tell me that.

For the first few days, I was actually scared to use my PC. I’m kinda jinxed when it comes to technology. Be it a new phone, or digital camera, I always manage to come up with a problem within the first few days. And it’s never my fault; like I said I’m jinxed. But, I managed to get through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd week without any problems. And just when I was thinking that maybe my jinx had lifted, MY THREE WEEK OLD PC CRASHES. I have no words to describe my feelings when that happened. I just went numb. I just looked at the screen, willing it to just start, for the screen to just light up. That’s when I hear faint beep, like my PC is trying to come back to life. I guess that shook me out of my stupor. I need Windows 7 support!

Windows Live Help to the rescue!
I tried the Windows 7 support number, but what did I get except a robotic voice directing me to press 1, then 2, then 3; you get the picture. Calling Windows live help really didn’t get me anywhere. Frustrated, I banged the phone down right on my hand; I told you I’m clumsy. And that’s when I decided to do something that I have never done before. Get online Windows live help, I’m not kidding, despite my history of technological mishaps; I have always managed to scrap through without getting online Windows live help. To be honest, it kind of scares me. But, I gathered up all my wits, and set out to explore the unknown area of online and remote Windows live help.

With a little help from my I- know- more- than-you buddy, I managed to connect to online Windows live help. I just looked on as he sent my problem to them, and the next thing I know, a Windows live help technician had taken control of my system remotely (whatever that means). To be honest, I really have no idea what happened after that; but the next thing I knew my system has up and working. It greeted me with what I imagine to be a smile. Whew!

Windows xp support saved my life
Online Windows xp support just saved my day, and maybe even my life. How would I have explained this disaster to my boss? So, the next time I know where to turn to for Windows xp support.
